Dr. Blake Bean is proud to be the new owner of Bean & Geller Orthodontics, formerly known as Geller Orthodontics. Growing up, Dr. Bean saw firsthand the positive impact that a great smile could have on a person’s confidence, which inspired him to pursue a career in orthodontics. He began his journey at the University of North Texas, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree while serving as team captain for the university’s Division 1 football team. Dr. Bean then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery and orthodontics residency at the University of Oklahoma, refining his skills and passion for helping patients achieve confident, beautiful smiles.
Dr. Bean’s clinical expertise covers a wide range of treatments, from traditional metal and clear braces to specialized programs for teens and adults. His focus is not just on providing top-quality care, but also on building lasting relationships with each patient. To Dr. Bean, orthodontics is about more than just straightening teeth—it’s about boosting confidence and improving quality of life.
A strong advocate for giving back, Dr. Bean is actively involved in community outreach, supporting local schools and charitable causes. His wife, Lindsey, who works as an HR Manager at Celanese Corporation, also contributes to the practice through community outreach initiatives. Together, they are deeply committed to making a positive impact in the DFW area and supporting local schools. As members of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Southern Association of Orthodontists, Dr. Bean is dedicated to providing exceptional care and making a difference in their community.
On the personal side, Dr. Bean met Lindsey at the University of North Texas, where they both served as team captains—Dr. Bean for football and Lindsey for soccer. They welcomed their son, Brady, in September 2023, and he has certainly kept them busy! Their family also includes two dogs: Zeke, a 10-year-old black Labrador who’s trained as a bird dog by Dr. Bean, and Gracie, an 11-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
The Bean family enjoys staying active together, whether cycling, hiking, golfing, or skiing in the mountains of Colorado. They love exploring local parks and indulging in their shared passion for Tex-Mex at neighborhood restaurants. They are happy to be back in the DFW area, where they can enjoy everything the community has to offer. Together, they share a mission of making a positive impact both at the practice and in the community they call home.
